  3. The title should be familiar with any parent traveling with a small child. Nora’s mother and I had to bribe her all the way. Chimayo, near Taos, is famous for its weavers, the Santuario (one of the earliest chapels in the country), and local restaurant. It’s a tiny tiny town. We went to visit the looms and the Santuario, but the orange soda was what Nora wanted most. Later, we referred to this as “The Orange Soda Incident”.
