   Icom 706iiG
Heil iCM desk mike for Icom.

That's my old Yaesu FRG-7700 shortwave
   receiver up on the shelf.

    Cushcraft MA5V - 5-band vertical 20M-10M

Mobile: VW Eurovan Camper using the Icom and various hamsticks and Hustler antennas with a Heil hand mike for Icom.

Most mobile activity is while commuting to Silicon Valley, or around the Bay. At the right is a map showing my home QTH in Oakland and some favorite remote spots at the marinas along the East Bay or along the North coast.

Icom 706IIg mounted on dash, powered by accessory battery in rear of van.

Working stationary mobile ("portable") at Pt.Reyes Nat'l Seashore, on the coast north of San Francisco using Hustler 10m and 17m.  Take a look at some of my pictures of Point Reyes, one of my favorite places in the S.F. Bay area.

On the right is the current view of the S.F. Bay looking west from the Berkeley Hills. Click on the picture to get the latest updating picture from the Lawrence Hall of Science website.
