Here are some videos taken on our camping trip to the Pacific Northwest at the end of June 2002.

and will take some time to load.
Be patient, but you can watch each video as they come down from the server.

Sunset Bay, Oregon On the Pacific coast near Coos Bay.

The Astoria Bridge over the Columbia River. We
head North on Hwy 101
over the bridge. We are going to Long Beach (WA) and Oysterville.

Oysterville (WA), on a small bay and the Pacific.
They've been farming oysters here
for over 100 years. A beautifully serene, Victorian village.
(It was here we sighted a small black bear!)

Kalaloch Beach Campground, on the Pacific coast,
part of the Olympic National Park. This was the one of the best spots on the trip... right on the
beach. There were very few people around, and the beach stretched on for miles. The sunsets were
magnificent. We could have spent a week or two there! (You can hear the constant ROAR of the ocean
in the video, randomly garbled by the Quicktime compression.)
Hurricane Ridge, Olympic National
Park (WA). The incredible view from 5242'. Unfortunately it was foggy the
day we were there.
